Over 100 community members volunteered Monday to walk and jog with flags in hand to honor men and women in the armed forces, veterans and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in defending their nation. The relay began Monday morning at two separate points along the Gulf Coast. One started at the National Cemetery at Virginia Street in Mobile, and ended at the Foley City flagpole in Foley, Ala.
