(Forsyth, MO) — The first lawsuit is now filed against the company and developer who want to build the Branson Sports Entertainment Complex.
Paul Vozar of Ozarks Extreme Sports Complex, Incorporated filed the complaint in Taney County Circuit Court. Hes claiming breach of contract.
In the complaint, Vozar says he wanted to buy the land that Russell Cook now owns near Highway 65.
He says he proposed a track and sports complex for the area, but the project never got off the ground.
Vozar is asking for an injunction to stop Cooks development of a NASCAR-style track.
Vozar was one of the people who appeared before the countys Board of Adjustments last week.
He presented an appeal to the board that was denied.
